This date carries a significance far beyond business. Exactly one year ago, on July 1, 2024, my life changed in an instant when I was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident just before midnight. Traveling at 80 mph, I collided with an 18-wheeler and miraculously survived though not without sacrifice. The accident resulted in the traumatic partial amputation of my foot (they were able to re-attach it because modern medical can do amazing things) and forced me into months of physical recovery and mental recalibration.
But adversity often gives birth to clarity.
During that difficult season of my life, I was given something rare, time to think. I reconnected with the parts of myself I had buried under the weight of life, distraction, and survival. At my core, I’ve always had a deep love for the internet. Not just using it, but building it. Writing code, launching websites, designing systems. These weren’t just hobbies to me in my younger years, they were passions that drove me.
That passion never really left. It just got drowned out by the noise.
So I made a decision. If I was given a second chance, I was going to make it count. I would rebuild not just my body, but my purpose. I would return to what I love, web hosting, tech, and building tools that empower others to bring their ideas to life.
